We’re thrilled to announce that Sound has acquired Soho, a leading mobile platform for digital collectors. The entire Soho team, led by Omid Aziz, is joining Sound. Omid will be taking on the role of our CTO.

That’s why we’re incredibly excited to welcome Soho to the Sound community. Omid and his team have deep experience with building and scaling mobile-first consumer social products – at Facebook, Instagram, and most recently, Soho.

We’re confident that this acquisition will accelerate our vision towards creating a world where artists can both reach more people and make a living from their music.
